Beauty is your Duty - Week 4

This week I will be trying out "Beauty Cheats" that women used in the war when cosmetics were hard to come by. These will include:
- Beetroot as rouge and lipstick
- Various hair rinses and cleansers (including vinegar and beer!)
- The many uses of Vaseline

I will also be making some recipes for wartime beauty products such as body scrubs and trying them out. So stay tuned for the (probably hilariously disastrous) results throughout the week!
