And its an epic fail! I've run out of loo roll!! Luckily this isn't really wartime otherwise I'd be using newspaper until Tuesday.On the plus side I still have enough soap to last me a good few weeks. It seems to me the ration amounts were a bit out of whack as I need more than one loo roll per household a week but a bar of soap will last me a good few weeks especially with the handy hints above.
Another way to make your soap last longer is store it in a warm place before use. This helps 'dry' the soap out and make it last longer.
